Avalanche on the ridge above heart lake, west of heart lake. It appears to have been triggered from part of a cornice collapsing. Pieces of tree limbs that were stripped off trees can be seen in the run- out path. Snow conditions were wet, loose, and soft. There were showers through the morning that continued to soften the snow.
