Quick report
We were on a northwest aspect, at 5700' elevation, at 1330. The weather was a light rain, overcast, with a light wind from the south. The temperature was above freezing the entire day. The height of the total snow was 124cm. We observed a persistent weak layer around 40cm above ground in a test pit. While the observed layer was not reactive to several tests, including CT, it was observed in the 4 total pits that were dug at different elevations and aspects. No signs of wind-loading were observed.
