Quick report

Over the past two days I have seen the snow settle...not completely, but a start. The small sluffs of snow that follow each turn didn't pass me up today, like yesterday. 3/5:CT3 @7", the remainder of the column simply crumbles with each tap, so not a lot of useful beta...Except for the few inches on the surface, the hasty pits show many different layers, depending on the aspect. I don't trust the snow pack enough to jump into the bigger bowls, gullies or chutes . Winds were moderate to light, but snow transport was definitely happening. The snow is amazing and the temptation is there to stick some of the more aggressive snow-filled lines...Probably need to wait until spring settles things out, or another year given the layering under this massive amount of new snow. The consequences of a mistake could be huge.
