Localized cracking underfoot, and natural storm slab and wet loose avalanches observed both in steep (over 35 degree) terrain, around rocks and cliff bands. The strom slabs failed within the new snow, with a depth of approx. 13cm and wet loose avalanches ran on a crusted old snow surface.

Warm and wet with the rain line hovering around 4000'. S1 snowfall for most of day, with short periods of heavier snowfall. Recorded temp at 6300' was 28F. Little to no wind.
Snowpack
Wet and warm snowpack with 23cm of new snow on the crusty hard surface from the late Feb rain event. 13cm new snow in the last 24hrs at 6300', Total HS 245 East aspect. The snowpack was moist from top to bottom. JDL buried 100cm down. The JDL facets were pretty well rounded, but still 4F- and saturated. CT1@232 SP within the new snow, CT19@154 on JDL.
