Skinned up GOS trail. There were a few river crossings and 2-3 inches of fresh snow. There was some cracking/collapsing on the trail on the way up on soft, sugary snow. I began skinning up Gully #4 towards the fingers in similar, slightly deeper snow, still at a low angle. I do not observe any signs of wind loading. After 2-300 feet, I heard and then turned to see a small, remotely triggered avalanche on the left hand wall behind me. With a reactive snowpack and probable wind loading higher in the gully, I transitioned and skied out.
