We observed failure on the new snow - old snow interface. We also observed increasing winds and increasing rate of snow from 1230-1430. Another group at lower elevation reported two whumps.

Snowpack
Snowpack tests resulted in moderate stability. Deep boot penetration made travel difficult without skis.
