Quick report
I did not dig any pits, but poked around in the fresh snow from the previous 48hrs on the floor of the ravine. 5-7cm of unconsolidated fresh windblown snow on top of the very firm rain and melt crust from last week. Some signs of windsculpting in the snow on the floor of the ravine, and small disconnected wind-loaded pockets in lee areas. There is little to no terrain that looks to make enjoyable skiing. None observed, other than a small crownline at the top of Left Gully.

Clear day with undercast up to 3800-4000ft. Large surface hoar crystals of 1-2cm in size observed between Hermit Lake and Connection Cache.

Small D1-1.5 at the top of Left Gully, appears to be wind-loaded snow that released naturally on or around New Year's Eve.
