The snowpack is warming and healing. Faceted layers are noticeably wet and rounding. A persistent weak layer is lurking though hard to trigger, the results of triggering an avalanche that could step down the PWL would be catastrophic. It was interesting to observe the temperature gradient was -0.2 throughout the entire snowpack indicating a lot of warmth and rounding happening.

-
Low likelihood high consequence. Standardized compression test and Deep Tap tests produced results at all the melt-freeze layers throughout the snowpack. NO result was observed from our Extended Column Test however a very easy shovel sheer sent the entire block into our laps. The Forcast seems spot on with a scary moderate to considerable danger.
