Snow was wind board on ridge tops, unconsolidated powder in south and east aspects above 9k. Wind slabs were observed on N facing leeward terrain above 9k.

Traveled out to No Name Canyon. Observed no other instabilities beyond new snow sloughing in steep, rocky terrain. Observed skier triggered slab avalanche, broke in open area adjacent to trees and ran 100’, stopping at small trees. 12” crown. N facing slope @ 9k. Winds were strong out of the W. No rider caught.
