Quick report
Sun crust 2-3 inches from the top of the snowpack. 168cm total. First failure happened at 155cm after 12 hits with shovel during column test. Broke again from 155-137cm after 32 taps. 137-95cm with forceful pull of shovel. Large ice layer/sun crust at roughly 125cm. Rather dense snow at site of pit.

Dense at the site of the pit. Mostly 1 finger ,on the hardness scale, throughout the majority of the snowpack.
