Quick report

Red Flags
Wind Loading, Poor Snowpack Structure

Dawn Patrolled up Silver Fork this morning looking to ski the Meadow Chutes zone. We dug a pit on an east facing aspect at 9600' to see how reactive the PWL was. We found a snow depth hovering between 125 - 135 cm and a snow pack moving down from Fist - 4F - 1F all the way down to the weak layer. We couldn't get the ECT to propagate or fracture on the weak layer (see video)
