Quick report
- Collapsing
- isolated
At the elevation band of ~11,470 ft I dug two pits to observe the snowpack for instabilities. After the new generation of SH formed last night there are PWL present on all the aspects I traveled on. There is a new generation of Surface Hour that formed last night and can be found BTL in protected areas, on all aspects. Tried to ski cut a few small slopes <40 degrees no results. A few collapses on isolated wind drifts.
Snowpack
On the NE aspect of AMR I dug a pit at ~11,470 ft ECTP19 on SH 15mm-20mm, on the same elevation band I dug on a SE aspect I got ECTP23 on FC 1-1.5mm. The diurnal recrystallization that took place before the 11/30 interface was buried created a small layer of FC above a MFPC (P)hard layer.
