Quick report
Obscured, calm and mild overnight with snow starting at sunset and generally heavy and steady all night long with 14½" new snow and water 1.25"- a dense snowfall. Currently calm with continued heavy snowfall. The snowpack has reached the winter's deepest at 47½". Yesterday's high was 23F and overnight low 16 and current 19. I was outside about 45 minutes this morning and heard some loud slides running off of Gothic, though there is no visibility. This new snow is generally sitting on the old snowpacks hard crust, which sits on rotten snow so conditions are dangerous at multiple layers. So winter is here. billy
