Quick report
Skier triggered shallow wet loose avalanche on an E facing slope in generally NE facing terrain. The slide occurred at 11:15 am on a sun-baked slope and ran on the stout crust layer that formed prior to last storm as the new snow became saturated. Skiers 1 and 2 descended the slope triggering sluff but stayed in front of it. Skier 3 descended about halfway down the slope before getting hit by their sluff and going for a slow ride 50-100 feet until coming to a stop against a tree at the bottom of slope. Skier 3 was not buried and was able to extricate themselves without assistance and skied away with minor scratches and bruises.
