Shooting cracks in the top 2-5 inches of the snowpack. 85 cm snowpack at 8800’ ,north facing, 23 degree, open slope near some sparse trees. Fist hardness PP and DF down to 32cm above ground. 4F hard interface at 31cm MF. Then Fist hard RG. Suspected PWL at 22cm. And basal facets below. CTV for storm slab at ~30 cm down then CT9 SC at PWL for column test and ECTPV occurred ~30 cm down when placing shovel on column. Storm slab was reactive-touchy.

Avalanche

North face of Punta Bardini, close to right tele bowl. Many small slabs released starting around 8200’, I suspect remote trigger. Released about 30 cm deep. Nobody buried. 30 ft wide, 30 cm deep.
