Quick report
Lower elevations below ~1500ft had open creeks and other early season hazards. Snow shed from trees had refrozen making surface conditons lumpy and difficult to ski. Melt freeze crust was supportable for skis (ski pen 13cm) but breakable for a boot (boot pen 33cm.) Signs of previous wind effect (wind lips and small cornices on ridges.) All in all, nice to get out on some fresh snow, feel some colder temps, and get the heads up about the burried facets
