Quick report
Skied today on the lower southeast aspect of Nadahini, up to 4,200ft. We found a half inch layer of crust on top of sugary faceted snow. In the willows skinning up we saw signs of wind effect with pockets of soft, punchy snow where we sank to the ground. In a pit the first pitch from the road, we dug to the ground, about a two foot depth, and found an inch and a half crust layer two inches above ground with very faceted sandy snow underneath reaching to the ground.
