Quick report

Monday and Tuesday had strong winds from the north with temperatures in the low 20s. The snow pack had been wind and sun affected in both the college glacier area and red rock canyon. starting on Wednesday and Thursday. The wind subsided and the sun effect became more drastic. Any travel should consider the effects of late afternoon sun on south facing and west facing aspects; wind loading should also be considered in route selection
