Dozens of large (up to D2) and small avalanches were visible on the Ben Lomond Ridgeline. Some appeared to be smaller isolated windslab releases while others stepped down into the PWL layer. Some avalanches appeared connected, but the lack of snow and variability in terrain features prevented larger connected releases. Snow surface consisted of melt/freeze below 7500' and windpacked/scoured above 8000'. Localized collapsing was felt above 7500'.
