Poor Snowpack Structure

Poor snowpack structure of several bands of faceted snow separated by hard layers. However, a ECT was completed without any snowfall failures. Lots of surface hoar on northerly surfaces made for great riding above 8000 ft all the way to Bountiful Peak. A deep layer of faceted snow on the western slope of bountiful peak also made fire great riding. Large cornices were observed on the bountiful peak Ridgeline, but no recent slides. Hardly any snow below 7500 feet - Farmington Canyon road was dry will the way to 7000 feet.
