Signs of new wind loading and concealing of avalanche activity. Significant instability on 1/4 PWL from valley to 9,000. Windslab development at ridgetop above 9,000'. By the time we got to the summit in the afternoon, the crown and debris were largely smoothed over and covered up by wind-transported new snow. We triggered significant collapses from the valley to 9,000'. Some new reactive windslab was observed at ridgetop

The slide that came off the East face headwall was a few days old and appeared to be the same 1/4 PWL, based on crown height. The debris was already significantly covered by last night's new snow. The crown line was less distinct by the time we got there in the afternoon.
