We observed three avalanches in pocketed, isolated terrain. Strong sustained winds out of the east deposited snow in unusual areas and doubled the HS in these areas. Wind slab almost doubled the depth of the weak decomposing snow pack underneath

Snowpack

32 cm snow pack consisting of several MF crusts and faceted snow was doubled last night during strong sustained easterly winds. This pencil plus density slab sits on top of weaker larger facets and MF forms/ crusts.
