We observed a large slab avalanche on a steep NE facing slope around 8800'. Could not see how wide it propagated or how far it ran, but the crown appeared to be 2-3' deep. Appeared to have released naturally, but 1 day old snowmachine tracks were present on the ridge so it could have been remotely triggered.
