Quick report
Went for an afternoon tour up Taylor. Despite very cold temps, there was strong solar input, and snow surfaces on all solar aspects were pretty cooked by 2pm. E facing had already developed a zipper crust by 2pm. Plenty of deep cold dry snow on shaded aspects. Lots of wind effect on the middle and lower E Face.

Inversion and very cold temps in valley, clearing by 11:45-12. Temps stayed below freezing up high.

Observed small windslab below middle cliff band of the Taylor E Face. Likely ran yesterday or early this morning, looked partially blown in.
