Quick Observation

Last week's rain crust was covered in ~10 cm of low-density (fist) snow. A little bit of sun crust observed at ~1800 m on steep S. slopes. Above ~1900 m the rain crust disappears and ski conditions were excellent.

Snowpack

Compression test at 2,100 m on N aspect gave some resistant and non planar fractures in the moderate taps and CTH 25 gave sudden planar result down 110 cm, on what looked like surface hoar crystals.
