Engadine

<p>Rode Engadine trees. Went up to the bench (around 2100-2200m).
Could feel the Dec rain crust about 100cm down with a pole. Oddly enough lower elevation seemed to be more powdery and snow was feeling a little wetter higher up. (Seemed like it was warmer, perhaps). About 5-10 cm of powder sitting on what feels like dense snow. Dense snow underneath was likely due to warming last week.
Overall snow pack felt pretty solid. Not much wind affect where we were but we did stay well within treeline. There are still some fresh tracks in the trees, but it is a popular area.
No signs of instability from where we were.
