Quick Observation

Variable snowpack BTL from 50-75cm HS. The name of the game was “shrubbery” and how to not be eaten by them. The Nov. 9th rain crust was ~1cm thick and knife hardness, semi supportive to skiing and variable. Good skin track has been established in the area. Need more snow!

Dug a quick pit for layer observation. NW aspect BTL, 30° slope, temp -11°C at 3pm , HS 60-75cm due to variable ground vegetation/cover. Early October crust @ 35cm with 3mm facets below to ground.
