Sunscreen required

Wow!! Another warm and ☀️☀️day! Spent the day in the Corbin area. The day started off cold at -11 so a good re-freeze overnight. Winds were light from the southeast and got stronger through the day. There was some isolated wind transport at ridge top growing cornices even larger. We dug a profile on a northeast aspect at treeline and had no significant test results. CTM (12) PC down 30, ECTX (no propagation) CTM (25) PC down 50 and we did find the Jan 24 FC PWL down 80 but were not reactive to standard tests. We found soft snow on north-facing slopes that have remained cold and skied a short treed line powder 8 style!!
