Quick Observation

Day started sunny but was full cloud by 1300. North and West slopes held nice power at treeline but were wind loaded in the alpine. Others aspects had a knee breaker crust which did not break down during the day. See avalanche report

Avalanche Information

Avalanche sz 2.5 likely one or two days old. Crown varied from 10-30cm and spanned 100m on a NW face (1st pic). Debris triggered lower crown (2nd pic) and continued down gulley to lower basin (3rd pic). Start zone ~1600m, end zone ~1280m.
