North Whymper

Fun day on North Whymper. Visibility was variable but reasonable light allowed for decent skiing. Some dry sluffs observed on the E aspects of W1 near the X. Our party turned around right below the final boot-pack to the col due to surprisingly warm temperatures - skins were gumming up, surface snow was warming, and lots of moisture was present. We decided to turn around and enjoyed an excellent run down to the moraine. The final moraine pitch was dust on crust but still enjoyable. Good day out and back to the car by 10:00am.
