Stick this in yr Noggin ;-)

Went roaming around the Crowsnest: Allison Creek today. Riding conditions similar to recent days. We didn’t see any natural or human-triggered avalanches …. HOWEVER what was different was a developing weak layer around 20-40 cm deep under the last couple of weeks’ storm snow. It failed / propagated in snowpack tests. So, no avalanche cycle seen, but stick this layer in yer noggin !
