We did not expect to do many turns today but we were pleasantly surprised to find some decent snow. Powder from the recent and on-going snow fall was 10-20 cm thick. Surprisingly it was bonding well to the crust from last week. Visibility was not great but we did not observe recent avalanche activity from what was visible. We skied down Burstall creek to reach the Burstall Lake flats which was probably a good call. The summer trail up the headwall was fairly thin.
