A Good Time Up High

We had a good day up on Manson. Temperatures were mild , winds were light and visibility was great. Old wind-affected snow at treeline and in the alpine was starting to soften from faceting which made for good skiing. We dug a profile in the alpine on an east aspect and got no significant test results. The average snowpack depth ranges from 100 cm at treeline to 150 cm in the alpine.
