Quick report
With ongoing snow showers and winds, we had poor visibility above treeline and chose to stay in the trees. Our tracks became partly filled-in after just a few hours. 45cm of storm snow in wind sheltered areas, with graupel at the bottom, but mitt pits and test slopes indicated decent bonding with the rain crust. That crust was weaker and only partially frozen compared to yesterday where the new snow above it was shallower. Several inches of snow below the rain crust was wet. Test slopes were mostly unreactive, but we did not get into above treeline terrain where there was wind transport occuring throughout the day.
