Quick report
No signs of instability most of the day touring the East Peak trees and north/ESE/west aspects of Bullion. Except for a 35-40 degree section 5500-5800' in Union Creek Basin where we skinned/broke trail down to a supportive crust anywhere from 6-16 inches down. Did not feel this crust while skiing. This area also had some soft storm slab debris from the past two days.

Partner and I were skinning, breaking trail up Union Creek Basin and triggered a soft slab breaking under our feet at a convexity, 35-40 degree slope. Crown was maybe 15-20 feet wide, ~12 inches deep underfoot but looked shallower towards the edge of the crown, and the slab ran for about 100 ft to the trees below. Bed surface was a crust that was at least a few inches thick. We only noticed this crust in this local steeper area 5500-5800' where there was some older storm slab debris.
