Quick report

Snow became more dense/wet throughout the day. Did not get anything to go on test slopes in the morning but got cracking on up track tests later in the day. Snow was intermittent with brief periods of blue sky. Cornices observed on ridgeline on both east and west sides. Skied mainly E/SE and W aspects from 6700'-5100'

SS-AR-D1-R2-S Skiing/Riding in Union Gap. Member of our group came up and triggered an avalanche right at the top of a convex rollover, about 38-40°. Rider was able to ride safely out of it. Slab broke in new snow with roughly 8" crown.
