Simmons Ridge, near Norway Basin, Southern Wallowas

Recent cold temps kept the processes at a minimum. Some point releases on steep South aspects in the Alpine. Even with clear night near surface faceting was also at a minimum. Conditions were observed around Simmons Ridge. Skies were clear, wind was calm, in the morning. By 1230 a few clouds were present with Clag building, 1330 flat light and moderate Clag. After a pit on a NE aspect & NW aspect I exited at 1600 to clear skies. Skiing was superb, Steep NW yielded elbow dragging turns.
