Quick report
We toured up to the top of the Ginny Lake drainage and assessed NW-N-NE aspect terrain in the area. PWL snowpack structure prominent in upper elevation NW-N-NE aspect terrain with limited indications of instability. Presence of surface hoar was very isolated and observed on valley floors only. Not a significant risk for SH burial by forecast snowfall tonight

Increased SW winds with infrequent periods of blowing snow observed during the strongest gusts. No wind loading.
Snowpack
Some signs of superficial melt-freeze on flat terrain and on solar aspects up to our highpoint of travel near 9,700'. Northerly aspects continue to hold a 4F to 1F hard slab over basal facets that are dry to moist in this area at upper elevations. Snowpit tests continue to give some concern with propagation and/or sudden collapse results common. No signs of instability outside of snowpit test results. No signs of recent avalanche activity in the area.
