Quick report
At both 7300' E and 8200' W, our AIARE class found that small, inconsequential test slopes around 40 degrees did not produce avalanches. Only above 8100' did we observe wind texture on the surface and find 6" thick windslabs, also unreactive.
The new snow is somewhat upside down (harder over softer) but the past 24 hours appear to have decreased it's sensitivity.

Winds were less than forecasted and gusts observed were still Light.
Snowpack
4" storm slabs failed in hand shears around 7200', increasing in thickness to 6" above 8200'. These slabs were F+ hard, denser new snow above F hard snow from Friday night. A rain crust 1/2" thick is roughly 1' below this new snow.
At 8070' NE, we found 155cm of snow and dug down 40cm, below the rain crust (down 24cm) from warming on Fri 1/3. We did not find any failures directly above the crust and 1 failure without propagation just below the crust (ECTN15 dn 25).
