Minimal blowing snow/snow for transport at ridge lines at 9400ft. SW moderate winds, S1 snowfall on and off throughout tour.
Snowpack
Overall we have a very weak snowpack that is weakest at its base. These large, weak basal facets are now dealing with new stress from the last couple days of storm snow on top and it will take some time to stabilize.
