Open supported slope 100’ below ridge line. Area with small amount of wind loading Overcast S1, rimed particles, low wind/ moderate at ridge. HS 210 Jan 3 layer down 100-120cm. 3 cm layer of Graupel 25cm down Breaking at graupel on isolation in hand shears. CTE- RP Top 25 cm were F to F+ back to F above the graupel - not much of a slab where we were. Graupel layer was drier and looser than I’m used to in the PNW. Ski quality was quite good.
