Colonel Bob Lookout Site

I approached Colonel Bob Lookout Site via the standard Pete's Creek route today in the afternoon. The trail was snow free up to open areas a few hundred feet below the Colonel Bob Trail / Pete's Creek Trail junction. The depth was trace initially, then got considerably deeper as I got closer to Moonshine Basin. It was 3"~6" at first with a large amount of water flowing underneath the trail via the trailbed. This deepened the closer I got to the summit, with areas being 1'~2' deep. The snow where deeper seemed like it had fallen recently, but had been exposed to limited precipitation input (some minor rainfall). The snow was faceting/sugar snow. The footprints in areas less than 1' where I stepped were exposed to ground/flowing water underneath.
