No pervious signs of instability were noted before the avalanche, as the plan for the day was the stay away from the terrain believe to have areas of instability that was documented of having surface hoar earlier in the week before the list last storm (North aspects above 30deg). New Snow- 50cm Weather (at time of slide) 3deg F, no wind, Few clouds No snowpack test were completed, however we did note the addition of 70mm of SWE on a storm board at 7840 ft from the last storm. Overall the day was executed as planned, cautiously and avoiding avalanche terrain believed have varied surface hoar. I also have more photos and videos available upon request.

Group of 3 snowmobilers using the Pilot Peak Looking out road remote triggered the northern aspect slope(s) to the north of the trail. The crown covered a distances of 2500ft with about 300ft being the longest runout. Everything 30deg or more on the north/north east aspect slid, while the lesser slope angles had propagating cracks connecting all the terrain. Crown ranged from 45-55 CM (storm slab) and broke on a bed surface was documented as large surface hoar (see photos).
