Snowpack
East facing aspects above treeline warmed rapidly between 11 am - 1 pm. Numerous shallow wet slides running full length of steeper aspects (down to dust layer). Stability tests below treeline mirrored the avalanche activity above treeline (fractures on the shallow dust layer).
