Got out for a pleasant tour to enjoy some of the fresh snow on low-angle ridges. While skinning, we experienced widespread collapsing, especially in locations with additional wind-affect. We observed a few avalanches (detailed below). We also found a thin rain-crust up to 9200' on all aspects buried a couple of inches below the surface. Thankfully, it did not affect the skiing! The tour started with S1+ snowfall at the pass, moderate ridge top W winds, and temperatures actively dropping from just below freezing. Our group sniffed out some good giggle skiing and flat pow, especially once the cold front passed through and offered long pockets of sunshine! We generally avoided any slopes greater than 30 degrees and toured on the northern half of the compass.

Noticed a few natural avalanches after the cold front passage and visibility improved. Also saw a handful of small loose dry avalanche debris piles on Galena Peak and up Gladiator Creek on N, NW, and W aspects, but couldn't get decent photos of them.
