Quick report
AIARE 1 group field day, toured up tweener ridge and rode down tweener south slopes. Appeared to be about a foot of fresh powder, we did not observe any obvious signs of instability or any avalanche activity. Wind was calm, skies overcast, snowing lightly but steadily from noon-4pm during our tour. We dug a snow pit at 8,989’ in the clearing at the top of tweener pillows on a NW aspect.
