On Sunday, we toured up to East Peak and Cement Basin with everybody else and were pleased to find a stable, unreactive snowpack, with almost no signs of the wind slabs observed the day before. We skied E through NE slopes up to about 35 degrees with almost no signs of concern. The top 10-20cm of the snowpack was cold and uncohesive. We did observe one very small settlement, and wind-affected snow on the opposite SSE slopes. But these features were small and also unreactive.

Sun with some clouds and light to no winds. Slightly above freezing on solar aspects. Mid-20s on shaded aspects.
Snowpack
HS83 on SSE aspect at 6586ft - our spot was probably shallow ECTN23 at 42cm on an older November crust, and CT21 Q3 at 70cm, on top of the 12/7 crust.
