Rode north facing aspects of Jim Hill accessed via Lanham lake. Travel in areas under tree cover below 5600’ was unpleasant with very little new snow over hard, tree bombed crust. About 6-8” of new snow in areas without tree cover. Observed clear signs of wind from the west at the ridgeline between the two basins, and ski cut a wind slab before dropping into the basin below Jim hill. Crown was about 6-8”, matching the depth of slabs observed in hand pit tests, which were somewhat stubborn to pull off. On northern aspects of Jim Hill there was widespread wind texturing and the snow was a tad heavy.
