Quick report

We observed a firm, supportive crust covered by fresh snow varying from an inch or two to a foot or more higher up. Wind was light, but visibility was poor with occasional openings allowing us to see as far a the next ridgeline. The only instability we noticed was in a very narrow area just below the ridge leading to Tye's summit. Wind packed snow cracked in small (<1ft) shallow (<3 inches) slabs when weighted. Overall impression was of a pretty stable snow pack.
