Quick report
Very hard crust on all aspects and elevations made for difficult skinning and ugly survival skiing. Refrozen avalanche debris and rain runnels also made things more exciting. Warm but no sun so little chance of things softening up and we bailed on a bigger objective. Early (or… late?) season hazards exist with open creeks, holes, low coverage. Very sobering conditions.
